The SFH Double-Grip Hydrostatic Packer is a Single String, retrievable packer. It’s hydraulically activated by applying tubing pressure against a plugging device below the packer. The packer released by a straight upward pull on the tubing string.
The SFH Double-Grip Hydrostatic Single String Packer can be run as a single packer, lower packer in multiple packer hook-ups using dual or triple string packer. It is also run as an upper packer in selective single sting, and the condition where displacing and setting is desirable after the well is flanged up. Or where well conditions prohibit mechanically set packers.
Features:
● No tubing manipulation required. The setting mechanism of this packer is released with pump pressure. the packer can be set after the well is flanged up and the tubing is displaced;
● Heave duty operational to hydrostatic pressure of 12,000 to 15,000psi.
● Hydraulically activated, hydrostatic-set, low-pressure, rig-pump-capable activation.
● Proven Element System.
● Hold-down Button slips holds the packer against higher differential pressure.
● No mandrel movement during setting allows stacked-packer applications.
● Optional rotational release.
