The SE TRSV (tubing-retrievable safety valve) is designed to prevent wellbore fluids flow to surface uncontrollably. The TRSV will close automatically if the wellhead equipment is damaged in a disaster or other cause. The SE TRSV is a self-equalizing valve. The TRSV is naturally closed. The safety valve is held open by hydraulic control pressure and remains open until the control-line pressure is exhausted.
The rugged hydraulic actuator of the SE TRSV isolates the internal workings from well fluids through its unique construction.
The SE TRSV has internal profile to allow matched tools to be landed and locked by using standard wireline tools.
