The Sunrise swellable packer using swellable elastomer is designed to swell on contact with fluid and expand to seal the annulus around the pipe. The oil-swelling elastomer has the features of high expansion ratio, high temperature resistance, long-period usage and can swell in heavy oil wells. The water-swelling elastomer has a high expansion ratio under high salinity and low temperature, and it enables higher pressure ratings per foot.
The Sunrise swellable packer based on multiple polymers available to provide oil-swelling, water-swelling and hybrid-swelling solutions . We have standard swelling type, delayed swelling type, fast-coating type, high pressure differential type and through-cable type to choose from.
Meanwhile, simulation tests on expansion rate and sealability can be carried out to suit applications, which can provide a wide range of selection. Optimal design of different sizes can be developed specifically for the various well environments to suit the customers’ demands.

NOTE: In the Bearing pressure, the standard type is the pressure capacity when the element length is 13ft, and the Fast-coating type is the pressure capacity when the element length is 1ft. The pressure capacity of standard type and Fast-coating type changes proportionally with the change of element length.
