This Hydro Trip Sub features a ball seat design that assures expansion of the collet-type fingers into their groove in the top sub once the shear pins are sheared permitting a full-opening ID for passage of balls, wireline tools, etc.
The Hydro Trip Sub is installed in the tubing string below a hydraulic packer to provide a method of applying the tubing pressure required to activate the packer.
Features:
● Suitable for horizontal well completion or open hole completion;
● Full opening ID can be achieved after the unique ball seat is activated.
● Pressure rating up to 10,000psi;
● Connected to standard tubing.
