The SNE TRSV (tubing-retrievable safety valve) is designed to prevent wellbore fluids flow to surface uncontrollably. The TRSV will close automatically if the wellhead equipment is damaged in a disaster or other cause. The SNE TRSV is a self-equalizing valve. The TRSV is naturally closed. The safety valve is held open by hydraulic control pressure and remains open until the control-line pressure is exhausted.
The SNE TRSV actuator is a single rod-piston non-elastomer，along with the MTM body joints and closure mechanism，is designed for general production with enhanced reliability and long life.
The SNE TRSV has internal profile to allow matched tools to be landed and locked by using standard wireline tools.
