The DHL-H Permanent Hydrostatic-Set Packer is a single string packer to be used in highly deviated well applications or where conventional packer plug setting techniques are not possible. It is developed on the basis of the proven product DHL packer. The DHL-H packer can reduce rig and packer setting time, resulting in cost savings for customers. While minimizing the risks associated with standard well intervention setting methods.
The DHL-H packer is set by absolute well pressure, it can also be set by running a plug in the packer tailpipe and pressurizing the tubing if the hydrostatic-set method unsuccessful.

- The packer is set from well hydrostatic, no additional equipment is required, setting costs are reduced.
- Reduces rig time.
- Two opposed sets of full circle slips allow the load to be distributed evenly around the casing wall and ensure the packer remains where it was set.
- Contingency setting mechanism, this mechanism is totally independent of the hydrostatic chambers.
- Advanced rupture disk technology (available in 500psi increments with temperature compensation curves).
- Can be set in heavy completion/ drilling fluids.
