The SR-3D packer is a compression-set packer and designed with the upper hydraulic hold-down button slips and the lower slips. It is suitable for production, stimulation and testing applications.
It incorporates a balanced piston and a face-seal type bypass valve. The balanced piston actuated force by pressure from below the packer. This pressure creates an additional set-down weight, helps maintain the force necessary to keep the bypass valve closed bypass area through the Packer. The bypass area is controlled by the bypass valve, which can reduce swabbing effect.(The SR-3DL is a large bore style which based on the SR-3D.)
Features:
● Standard slips will grip P-110 casing;
● Three pieces multiple hardness packing elements combined as field-proven seal system;
● Hydraulic hold-down button slip design protect button slips form wear;
● The bypass valve can reduce swabbing effect;
● The balanced piston actuated lock force to help keep the bypass valve closed;
● Balanced piston force acts the same direction as set-down weight to help prevent the Body from moving up under high tubing pressures.
